The COVID-19 pandemic has forced all the festival celebration to go virtual. Thus, we organized for Mid-Autumn Virtual Celebration Event on 24th of September 2021 (Friday). We invited our parent company and all subsidiaries to share the happiness together.
Before the event started, President Wu delivered an opening speech, and he extended the holiday greetings and best wishes to all employees on behalf of Jiangsu Seagull. Next, followed with Mr. Cyril Hsu, the Managing Director of Seagull Cooling Technologies, he gives his welcome speech and sent holidays wishes to all employees around the world.
During the event, we invited a representative from each subsidiary to present about the traditional food and celebration activities in their countries. In Malaysia, there will be lanterns & mooncakes everywhere while in Indonesia, red lanterns are hung on trees and candles are lit by the pool. In Taiwan, China, there will be barbeque activities and reunion dinner with the families.
We created a folded origami lantern together with all colleagues and followed with an interactive sharing session whereby the colleagues shared the special moments and interesting stories about Mid-Autumn in their country. We took a group photo together that drew a successful end to the virtual celebration.
